My first card from Argentina came to me from Paula. I can write all the names of places and things on it, but let's just see.

Brazilian card

A card from Luciano. Altar-mor da Catedral Basilica de Nossa Senhora do Pilar - this is the name of this place.

São Paulo

It's another card from the capital of Brazil. Andrea (sender of this card) wrote that on the picture we can see a train station, but it's also a cultural place. Maybe some concerts took place there.
Very nice nightview.
I'm still dreaming about a card from Rio with a statue of Christ the Redeemer. Or two cards: one with the statue and on just with cityview. Yes.

Praça da Sé

The Praça da Sé (Cathedral Square) is a public space in São Paulo, considered the center of town, because is the point from where the distancy of all roads that pass on São Paulo are counted. The square was the location of many historic events in São Paulo's history, most notably during the Diretas Já movement. The name originates from the episcopal see of the city, the São Paulo Cathedral.
Originally known as Largo da Sé (Field of the See), the square developed around the religious building which preceded the cathedral and surrounding edifices. At the beginning of the 20th century, older structures were demolished and the downtown area reconstructed according to the urban planning of the time. Its geography has remained mostly unchanged since.

The Itapuã Lighthouse

I think, every postcrosser has his own collection of postcards with something special. Tha most popular collections are: moomins, Kaj Stenvall, Hello, Kitty!, national clothes, Disney etc. And many people collect lighthouses. I do not. I mean, I don't do anything for take one more lighthouse to my collection. I have 3 now, here is 1 of them.
The card is from Valeria. It shows the Itapuã Lighthouse (built in 1873). Unfortunatelu, I can't tell you something more about it, 'cos I didn't find the information:( Sorry:( So just enjoy the view:)

Nightview

These days I received lots of nightview cards. I like them all. I like nightviews. In the night light everything looks specially. I'm looking on this card and I wanna be there - to walk through the quay, to breathe fresh air... And yes, nightviews are so romantic:) How do you think:)?
